Rock Band Storypath

Storypath units promote children as active participants in their own learning. Students learn about topics through cross-curricular connections woven into an imaginative real-world scenario. They role-play and make critical decisions independently and collaboratively. Invite your students on a rock band adventure! This unit integrates Common Core standards with project-based learning. Students discover that what they learn in school is valuable, even for a rock star! Rock Band Storypath - Check it out here!

  1. Please use paper. Styrofoam will just end up in a landfill or burned and be in our air. Paper can be recycled. Thank you!

    1. I don't think styrofoam is used in this PBL lesson. For styrofoam cup learning, the cups are reused. I have used the same cups over and over again. Before I give them to the children, I tell them to treat items in the classroom with respect. The cups stay intact. I adhere the images with packaging tape. The cups can be wiped off easy with clorox wipes. Styrofoam cups are the best for these activities because they have a large rim. Children can see words on the rim when they stack the cups. Once cups wear and tear, there is no need to dispose them! Children can recycle them and create artwork! :)
